About Boy Howdy

Two owners, one crew, and our name on every build.

Boy Howdy Metal Construction is owned and run by Jaxon and Trent out of Bangs, Texas. We build shops, barns, barndominiums, carports, patio covers, and custom steel for folks across Brownwood, Brown County, and the counties around it.

Jaxon is 20. He started Boy Howdy to be the kind of construction company this part of Texas can count on: one that answers the phone, shows up when it said it would, and puts the price on paper before the steel arrives.

In 2026 that turned into a $500,000 contract, the biggest in the company's history. We still take the small jobs. A carport or a barn door repair gets the same crew and the same standard.

How we work

    We plan it before we price it: what goes inside, what has to move through it, where the water runs, and which openings matter.

  2. 02

    We put the scope and the price in writing, so you know what's included before work starts.

  3. 03

    We build it square, walk it with you at the end, and don't call it done until you do.
